Meet the Author
Judy S. Walter is a retired high school English teacher from Chambersburg, PA. A life long interest in nutritional supplementation and her best friend's bout with cancer resulted in her first book, Winning the Battle: A Self-Help Guide for Cancer Patients. Two more health related books followed as well as a cookbook before Walter shifted focus. Her next two books revolve around one of her great loves - cats.
Sammy, the Talking Cat is a great hit with all ages.
That has been followed by The Grey and White Stranger.
Her next book is an outgrowth of one of her teaching units and also a life long interest in World War II and the Holocaust. During her life Walter has met a number of Holocaust survivors and in their honor has written Nightmare in Europe.
Walter's interests include travel, photography, cats, the beach, reading and writing. She enjoys visiting her daughter who lives in the western part of the U.S.
Walter is a member of West Virginia Writers, Maryland Writers' Association, and the Virginia Holocaust Museum.
